I shop. I don’t just walk into a store, pick the first item I see and run out again to avoid lingering sales chat. I savor the smell of the high end vintage leather, the gleam in the sales staff's eyes, and the opportunity to compare designers, collections and the personality of high quality fine leather bags. I got a call the other day from a desperate young woman in her twenties who had just been invited by her new boyfriend to spend the weekend at his parent’s estate.
