Fine Leather Backpack in Old World Charm

Backpacks are extremely handy bags for trekking and keeping your hands free. I have been getting a lot more exercise lately as well, one of the commitments I made to myself for the year 2012 was to launch from my couch potato status to my former rank as a top triathlete in College. My sedentary life in the office got the better of me. For 10 years I believed my body when it told me that after a grueling 8 hours of sitting down in front of a computer I was too tired to go for a walk.

I know better. My body simply went into shock at the idea of exertion. My next challenge was how to fit it into my schedule. I get to the office for 7am and usually don’t get out until 6. With at least an hour devoted to traffic, my ambitions looked pretty undoable. Then, I saw a young man, in a gorgeous business suit no less, ride buy wearing a backpack. His was all gnarly and looked like he probably used it in the jungles of some unknown Amazon village. That would not work for me, but the concept certainly did.

So, back to my trusty fine leather bag designer – Jack Georges. Pretty much, I leap on any opportunity to shop there. My instincts were true. They have introduced a new backpack, in their new Spikes & Sparrow Collection. Handcrafted, vegetable dyed buffalo that is built to improve with age and use is the perfect solution. Elegance, quality enough room to stuff my vegetables and books, I am confident in traveling about the city and being recognized but not shabby while sweating on the bike.
